Nominated one of the 10 Best Wine Shows in South Africa!

The 13th Hermanus Wine & Food Fair, will celebrate the wines of some of the more than 70 producers from Elgin to Elim. The wines of the Overberg region are gathering acclaim every year and this is the best opportunity to taste them all under one roof!

The importance of the Overberg as a wine producing region is beyond doubt with many of the top wines of the country being made here. More than seventy producers from, Ataraxia to Zoetendal, will present their wines for tasting at the Hermanus Wine and Food Fair. All the wines will be available for purchase at special prices during and after the fair at Wine Village. This is the only Wine & Food Fair in SA where you can taste and buy wine, and take it home or have it shipped to your destination of choice.

Local musicians will perform around the clock to stir the feet and jingle the ears. A Brandy & Beer Lounge will offers a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee a Birkenhead beer or a brandy tasting. On Saturday the “manne”  can catch a beer or brandy and stay close to the TV in the Lounge for the Rugby!

The Brandy & Beer Lounge is complemented by a wine and beer bar in the Gourmet Marquee.

The Hermanus Wine and Food Fair will be open from 11:00 – 19:00 on Saturday 8 August and on Sunday 9 August from 11:00 -16:00

Entrance is R95.00.

For the serious wine taster a Weekend Pass costs R150. The Weekend Pass includes a lucky draw to a case of Overberg wine.

The official opening evening, on Friday 7 August, is a charity event held in aid of the Hermanus Botanical Society. On the program is live entertainment, supper, wine tasting, a silent wine auction and socializing with the Overberg winemakers and chefs. This year, funds raised from the event are for the Environmental Education School of the Overstrand.
